Photography isn’t just about capturing moments—it’s about telling a story, creating lasting memories, and, for me, reflecting God’s love in everything I do. My goal isn’t just to take beautiful photos, but to serve my clients in a way that honors Him. Here are a few ways I strive to glorify God through my work as a photographer:

1. Capturing the Beauty of His Creation

The beauty of God’s creation isn’t just in the breathtaking landscapes—it’s in you.  The way you laugh with your loved ones, the way you hold onto the small, intimate moments, the way your love story unfolds—that is His masterpiece. I want my photos to be a reflection of His work, capturing your story in a way that reminds you of how wonderfully made you are (Genesis 1:27). Every session is an opportunity to showcase the beauty of His creation, not just in the scenery but in the people He has so intentionally placed in this world.

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." — Psalm 139:14

2. Serving Clients with a Joyful Heart

Photography isn’t just about taking pictures—it’s about serving others. Every time I pick up my camera, it’s a reminder that my work is not about me; it’s about making my clients feel seen, loved, and valued. Whether it’s through encouragement, patience, or simply making them feel comfortable in front of the camera, my goal is to reflect Jesus’ love. I remind myself before each session that I’m not just working a job; I’m stepping into someone’s life and capturing moments that will last forever.

"Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves." — Philippians 2:3

3. Praying Over My Clients & Business

Before every session, I take a moment to pray—not just for the technical side of things but for God to work through me. I ask for guidance to capture your story in a way that reflects love, joy, and authenticity. I pray that my work brings light into your life and that when you look back at your photos, you don’t just see images—you see the beauty of the moment, the emotions, and the love that surrounds you.

I also pray over my business as a whole, asking God to lead me in the right direction, to open the right doors, and to help me use my gifts to serve others in a way that honors Him. This business isn’t just about me—it’s about glorifying God through creativity, connection, and the people I get to work with. I'm encouraged to seek God’s guidance in every aspect of my business and my work, trusting that He will lead me where I need to go. Every client, every opportunity, and every story I capture is a blessing, and I never want to take that for granted.

"Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans." — Proverbs 16:3

4. Love like Jesus

My goal isn’t just to be a photographer—it’s to be a light. I want every client to walk away from our time together feeling loved and appreciated. Whether that means being patient, offering encouragement, or simply being a calming presence on a stressful wedding day.

Photography is an intimate experience, and I want to reflect God’s love in every interaction. In everything I do, I aim to love like Jesus.

"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."John 13:34-35

Photography is so much more than just capturing moments—it’s an opportunity to serve, to love, and to reflect God’s beauty in the world around us. I feel incredibly blessed to be able to share in the stories of my clients and to glorify God through my work. If you’re looking for a photographer who will not only document your story but also pray over it, encourage you, and capture the beauty of who God made you to be—I’d love to work with you.
